Awareness of Dental Practitioners of The Ethical Standards in Dental Researches

Background: Awareness of ethical standards in conducting research is necessary because ignoring issues may not only cause harm to the subjects but also lead ineffectiveness. This study aimed investigate awareness dental residents and professors Shahid Beheshti University Medical Sciences, Iran, researches. Methodology: a descriptive cross-sectional study, performed using validated researcher-made questionnaire. 53 74 different specialties participated. The data were analyzed statistical tests SPSS 21.00 software. Findings: male, female ratio was 41.5% 58.5% , while 62.2% 37.8% male. Also, there specialty, years service, participation project or dissertation. Obtaining performing paying more attention vulnerable groups during projects are items that must mentioned more.
